Geometric shapes, circles and accordion designs were the inspiration key components to this style shoot. This was another beautiful design by the talented and beautiful Michelle Garibay Events. I love working with her because I never have to worry about a single thing. Give her a task and she will make it happen. To be honest, this task wasa little challenging for me, as a stationery designer, as I normally don’t use these design concepts on invitations. However, just when I get a complicated task with a bride, I put on my thinking cap and design. This design took place in the gorgeous and historic Riviera Palm Springs. Just a short hour to hour and half drive from Los Angeles and San Diego, The Riviera Palm Springs Hotel was intimate and luxe for a modern midcentury wedding vibe. Tall beautiful palm trees were placed at the perfect locations throughout the property that made for a fresh backdrop for our table design. When it came to the accordion concept, I designed a menu/ place card. The place card name was in the front and the menu in the middle. The meal choice was in the back part of the accordion. A geometric gold foil circle was the main design throughout the entire style shoot. It was displayed on the invitation suite, menu, place card, cake and table decor. It all came together so effortlessly with this entire team.
