“Your love is my music”

Finding and excuse to travel is super easy for me. Especially when it comes to visiting one of my favorite cities in the world, New York City. It all started when my beautiful and talented friend, Kelsey from Kelsey Rae Designs and I were having coffee at a local shop. We began planning a photo shoot and we quickly realized that we were both going to be in New York City at the same time. We concluded that a New York trip around the same time would be just perfect. Kelsey’s choice for the venue was Central Park near the bethesda fountain. The inspiration for this elopement was a Ballet inspiration, as our model and Kelsey’s friend, performs with a New York City Ballet Company. She happen to have time in between shows so she became our muse. A small picnic area was set up for the couple, where they were able to enjoy Laduree macaroons while overlooking the the lake by the iconic Boathouse. The macaroons had circle toppers indicating the flavor of the macarons in modern calligraphy, which gave the perfect detail touch to the set up. The invitation suite and save the date matched the musical theme with a white laser cut belly wrap and blush color ribbon. The picnic area was decorated with Borrowed A Vintage Inspired Company’s dishes, glasses and silverware. The beautiful flower arrangements by Designs by Ahn were covered in soft pink and white peonies, bringing all the soft tone colors together. One of the best parts of this elopment, was the beautiful music that was playing under the bridge and the bethesda fountain arches. An opera singer began singing and our ballerina put on her pointe shoes and slowly began moving to the sound of the opera singer and the acoustics. Soon, the arches by the Bethesda fountain filled the surrounding with people admiring the dance movement that was organically created. The dress by BHLDN, flowed with the music and the wind. Her hair was carefully done by Selda Cortes of Blush in Love and the handmade headpiece by Cheri Elizabeth from Embrace Bridal Boutique, tied her entire soft look together. We ended this beautiful day by the Boathouse and lake with some Temecula Wine from Lorimar Winery, a winery inspired by music, art and food. Musical notes covered the wine bottle with accents of gold foil to match the gold vase for the centerpiece. “your love is my music”, was carved on the wood signage held by our couple, bringing together the etlopment at Central Park to a perfect end.
